A Message from Bible Camp

At ECA, our vision is that school families Love God, Value Learning, and Serve Others.

We are All Made for More

The 7th & 8th grade students at ECA want to share a message with all of you: we are all made for more. With over 8.1 billion people in our world today, and the countless members of planet Earth since God’s creation, we are unique. God’s plan for us goes so much farther than the message we often hear from the noise that is found in our world. As we reflect on God’s plan to do amazing things in our lives, we can find hope in Ephesians 2:10.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” NLT

You can hear more about God’s plan and how we are made for more by listening to the theme song of this year’s Bible Camp, “Made for More” by Josh Baldwin.

ECA Fall Track & Field Day this Thursday

This Thursday, students will be meeting their big brother/sister in our yearly program. Students will be having lunch together and then having an afternoon of track & field events at school. Students will be competing against their classmates for ribbons in events. This will take place from 12:30-3:30 followed by a normal school dismissal. If you would like to come and watch your child compete in these outdoor events, you are welcome to join us. Plan on bringing a lawn chair and help cheer on our students.

If you would like to help with timing and measuring running and field events, help is always appreciated. Thank you to the many parents who have started or renewed our background check process.

Home & School Meeting this Wednesday at 7 pm

This Wednesday, Home & School leaders will be meeting at the school library at 7 pm. If you would like to learn more about the next couple months and different ways you can help out, plan on attending! Thank you to our Home & School leaders and all of our volunteers for all you do!

Our AG classes happen every Monday from 1:15-3:15. Homeroom classrooms will participate on a rotating basis. This week, our AG class will be grades 5&6. As you start to plan, remember that rubber boots and gloves are appropriate materials for AG Class. We do have racks for keeping boots safe. Christian Counseling Available - Free Resources:

The NAD (North American Division of SDA) has recently shared new resources for children and teens that offer a safe and anonymous place to talk or text. Here is a news release from the NAD.

We’re excited to announce the launch of www.aruggedjourney.org our newest NAD site providing free online mentoring for guys. A Rugged Journey joins www.gorgeous2god.org (for young women) which has grown in its scope and ministry since its beginning in 2017.

These sites, along with their counterparts on social media, provide free help to our teens/young adults in a space they can ask questions without judgment or fear. The questions are answered by a team of dedicated Seventh-day Adventists at AIM on the campus of Andrews University.

In addition to the confidential Q & A, positive content is provided through videos, posts, etc.
